AI Consulting in Riyadh & Saudi Arabia
Elbetron's AI consultants help Saudi organisations decide where AI is worth it, plan it properly and take it into production, in Arabic and English.
Book an AI consultation How an engagement worksWhat our AI consultants do
Most AI projects in the Kingdom do not fail because the model is weak. They fail because nobody agreed on the problem, the data was not ready, or the pilot never had a path to production. Our AI consulting covers the whole route: strategy, a working pilot and the plan to run it at scale.
Typical starting points we hear from Saudi organisations are a customer service team overwhelmed by repetitive questions, documents that take hours to review, data spread across systems that nobody can query easily, and leadership asking for an AI plan for the coming year. Each of these needs a different answer, and sometimes the right answer is a simpler automation rather than AI.
We are not a slide-deck consultancy. Elbetron is a Saudi software company that builds AI products, including bilingual AI assistants and agentic chatbots, so the advice you get comes from people who ship AI systems and support them afterwards.
- AI strategy tied to business goals, not to trends
- Readiness assessment of data, people, processes and infrastructure
- A prioritised use-case roadmap with expected value and effort
- Pilots that are designed to become production systems
AI readiness assessment
Before choosing tools, we look at what you already have. The assessment reviews four areas and ends with a clear, written picture of where you stand and what to fix first.
You get a short report your leadership can act on: strengths, gaps, risks and the first three steps, in plain language.
The assessment also tells you what not to do yet. If the data a use case depends on is incomplete or scattered, we say so and recommend the groundwork first, because building on weak data is the most common reason AI pilots disappoint.
- Data: where it lives, its quality, ownership and access rules
- People: skills in the team, who will own AI, what training is needed
- Processes: which workflows are repetitive, measurable and high-volume
- Infrastructure: cloud and on-premise options, security and integration points
Use-case discovery and ROI roadmap
We run workshops with business and technical teams to collect candidate use cases, then score each one on value, feasibility, data availability and risk. The result is a roadmap that puts quick wins first and keeps larger bets visible.
For every shortlisted use case we write down how success will be measured, for example response time, handling cost or error rate, so the investment can be judged on results rather than impressions.
Generative AI and conversational AI consulting
Generative AI is where most Saudi organisations are starting, and where the choices matter most: which model, where it runs, how it handles Arabic and how answers are kept grounded in your own documents.
Arabic deserves special attention. Many models handle Modern Standard Arabic well but struggle with Saudi dialect, mixed Arabic-English messages and domain terms. We test candidate models on your own questions and documents before recommending one, and we measure accuracy, refusals and made-up answers rather than relying on vendor benchmarks.
We advise on model selection, retrieval-augmented generation, Arabic and dialect handling, guardrails and evaluation, and we can build the result. See our generative AI development and agentic chatbot services for what that looks like in practice.
Data governance and compliance in Saudi Arabia
AI in the Kingdom has to respect Saudi rules from the first design decision. We plan solutions around the Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL), the AI Ethics Principles published by SDAIA, and the National Cybersecurity Authority's Essential Cybersecurity Controls where they apply to you.
A useful first step is a simple data classification: which information is public, internal, confidential or personal, and which of it may be used to train or ground an AI system. With that agreed, decisions about hosting inside the Kingdom, encryption and access logging become straightforward.
In practice that means deciding what data an AI system may see, where it is stored and processed, how long it is kept and who can audit it. We help you document those decisions. Elbetron does not certify compliance; your legal and compliance teams keep that role, and we give them a design they can review.
How an engagement works
Every engagement is scoped after a first conversation, so you pay for what you need. You work with a small team that stays with the project from the first workshop to handover, with regular check-ins and a single point of contact. A focused readiness assessment is measured in weeks, not months, and a pilot is planned to deliver a working result in a fixed, agreed window.
Where we work: our team is based in Al Khobar and meets Riyadh clients in person for workshops, kickoffs and milestone reviews.

Frequently asked questions
How much does AI consulting cost in Saudi Arabia?
It depends on scope. A focused readiness assessment is a short, fixed-price engagement, while a roadmap plus pilot is priced on the use case and the data involved. We give you a written quote after a first conversation, before any work starts.
How long does an AI readiness assessment take?
A focused assessment is measured in weeks, not months. The exact length depends on how many departments and systems are included, and we agree it with you up front.
Do you work in Arabic?
Yes. Workshops, reports and the AI systems we build can be in Arabic, English or both, including Saudi dialect handling for chatbots and assistants.
Can you implement, not just advise?
Yes. Elbetron is a software company that builds and supports AI products, so we can take a recommended use case from pilot to production, or hand it to your own team with documentation.
Is our data kept in Saudi Arabia?
We design solutions so that data can stay inside the Kingdom when that is required, and we document where every component runs. Our own assistant platform, Elbi, is hosted inside the Kingdom.
Do you certify PDPL compliance?
No. We design AI solutions around PDPL, SDAIA's AI Ethics Principles and relevant NCA controls, and document those decisions so your legal and compliance teams can review and approve them.
